Steps to Make Yahoo as your Homepage

As there are numerous web browsers used by users, the steps may vary for setting up the Yahoo website as your homepage according to the web browser you would be using. Below you can find the information for setting up Yahoo as a homepage for popular web browsers like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Mozilla Firefox. If you are using any of these web browsers, you can follow the instructions provided below.

For Google Chrome Browser

  • On your computer, open the Chrome browser and press the Menu button (three horizontal bars). This will open a drop-down menu on your screen.
  • From the drop-down menu that appears on your screen, select the Settings You will be directed to the Settings section.

  • Here, you will need to select the “Open a specific page or set of pages” option.

  • Now, to make Yahoo as your homepage, you will need to first enter the URL of the Yahoo homepage in the prompted field located next to the “Add a new page” option.

For Safari

  • Next, you will need to click on the “Home Page” field and enter the URL of the Yahoo site you wish to set up as the homepage.
  • In the “When Firefox Starts” section, you will need to make sure that the “Show my home page” option is selected.
