  5. If you recognize the provided email address or phone number on the screen, press the Continue button. You will receive the verification code.
  6. Now, copy the 6-digit verification code from your email account or phone number and enter it in the provided field on the next screen. Then, press the Continue button.
  7. As you will press the Continue button, you will be directed to the next screen where you can enter your new password in the provided fields and confirm it.
  8. After that, follow the on-screen prompts if any to reset your password. You can then use this new password to access your AT&T email account.

When You Have an AT&T Wireless Number

  • Navigate to the myAT&T Profile and select the Contact info option.
  • Next, select the Phone tab and press Add option in the My AT&T wireless number section.

  • You are most likely to be prompted to enter the verification code on the next screen. So note down the code sent to your wireless number and submit it.
  • The AT&T wireless number will be added to your User ID.

  • Sign in to your AT&T Mail account and go to the Profile section.
  • Next, select the Sign-in info option and scroll down to the My linked accounts section to select the Manage email option.
  • Then, select the Edit user information option and enter your wireless number. Make sure to also select the checkbox next to “Use this number to reset your password”.
  • After that, press the Save Changes option and fulfill further steps (if any) sent to your wireless number within twenty-four hours.
  • In case you don’t have an AT&T Wireless number, text message rates, and other charges may apply. For this, you can contact your service provider.
